Just
thirty feet from a sparkling trout stream, the historic Bunkhouse has
three rooms furnished much as they might have been when
Butch Cassidy spent
Christmas of 1889 here. The bedroom has a double bed and stove, the bath has an antique claw-foot tub with shower, and the main room has a sheepherder stove, daybed, and great space for eating and visiting. The Bunkhouse is available for bed and breakfast stays or by the week. |

The Painted Hills Room faces the Dubois badlands and is decorated in a western theme with spool-turned queen bed and western art work. Both rooms share a large bathroom equipped with a Jacuzzi tub and adjacent sauna -- a wonderful way to relax after a hard day on the "trail." A charming playroom completes the suite. Nestled in the eaves it has books, toys, and games and is a great place for children. All three rooms can be rented en-suite. Wholesome breakfasts are served in the sunny dining room. Carolyn's famous sourdough pancakes, Scottish oat scones and fruit, or biscuits and gravy are sure to tempt your appetite. Tea, home-ground coffee, and home baked goodies are always available. |
The Painted Hills and Whiskey Mountain Rooms are available as individual bed and breakfast rooms or you can rent the entire house on a weekly basis.
Sorry, we do not allow smoking inside the cabin or main house.
