The foothills of the Wind River Mountains rise in front of the house, leading to some of the most pristine wilderness areas in the lower 48.

From hiking and rock hunting to fishing and photography there's plenty to do in the Dubois area all year long.

You may decide to remain on the acreage enjoying the pleasant creek-bottom ambiance, or fishing in the pristine waters of Jakey's Fork.

The hammocks stretched out in the shade and the sound of cool running water have enticed many guests to stay an extra day or two.

"A great place for kids who love animals and water"

If you're looking for history, spend a night or a week in the historic Simpson Homestead bunkhouse (just across Jakey's Fork from the main house) and hang out with the Wild Bunch.  Butch Cassidy and partner Al Hainer spent Christmas here with the Simpson family in 1889.  According to one old-timer, it was a jolly occasion with lots of laughter, games and plenty of old-fashioned eggnog.
